Marta works shifts at OyPizza with her twin Clara, and the two finish each other’s sentences almost before they begin.
When the class leaves Joseph’s room, Marta and Clara go back. Marta tells him the songs could become words they understand in English. As he turns away in tears, she sits on the floor beside him and waits. At OyPizza, the twins bring their classmates together to keep the promise they have made.
Their close harmonies lead Chiribim Chiribom as the Sharpies test their show in the café. When Clara loses a word, Marta gives it back; when Marta misses an entrance, Clara catches her. At the Times Square final, Marta gives Clara the breath she needs. Their bond makes the ensemble sound braver than either could alone.
