Born in London to a conductor father and a Moroccan model mother, Marco brings Sephardic heritage and a wide musical world to MASA.
He helps turn Hadley’s idea for a story into a school show the class can be graded on. At rehearsal, he trims a transition; at the Times Square final, he holds the ensemble together when the noise of the square presses in. His part is often making everyone else’s work possible.
When his father arrives for the school performance, Marco straightens and suddenly seems much younger. Hadley urges him to play with the group. During Forever, his father stops assessing the show and begins keeping time.
